Job summary

Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to administer medications safely and accurately to residents under physician orders and facility policies. You will support residents’ health and daily care in a 100-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting.

The role requires Rhode Island CMA certification and CNA/CHHA credentials as applicable, with CMA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Rhode Island CMA certification as required.
• Must be CNA or CHHA certified when required by role.
• Prior CMA experience and medication administration skills.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions and state regulations precisely.
• Strong teamwork with nursing staff in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per orders and policies.
• Deliver medications via oral, topical, optic, and subcutaneous routes where permitted.
• Observe and document resident responses, report changes promptly.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed staff supervision.
• Ensure secure storage and accurate medication documentation.
• Collaborate with care team to promote resident-centered outcomes.
