Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification or education as required by state regulations.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR & First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and resident care as assigned and within policy.
• Maintain clear, accurate, confidential medication records.
• Notify Supervisor if medication is not administered per directions and document reasons.
• Track medication changes and refills; notify the pharmacy of new orders.
• Document information and report resident changes to a supervisor immediately.
• Respond to emergencies and resident requests promptly.
