Job summary

Tanner Spring Assisted Living & Memory Care in West Linn, Oregon, seeks a dedicated Medication Coordinator to administer medications and monitor residents’ health in our Assisted Living setting.

You will coordinate medication schedules, document distributions, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate care for residents. A high school diploma and experience in healthcare are preferred, with strong English communication required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, preferably as a medication aide or medication technician.
• Strong English communication; good written and verbal skills.
• Familiarity with medication management protocols and safety/infection control.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Calm, compassionate and patient with residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication administration schedules for residents according to prescribed dosages and timing.
• Ensure accurate documentation of medication distribution, including updating records of residents’ medication lists and administration logs.
• Monitor medication storage and inventory levels, coordinating refills and supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are in place to ensure residents’ safety.
• Monitor residents’ health and any changes in behavior, communicate to leadership.
• Collaborate with other members of the care team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
