Job summary

Vitality Living Frederica Community is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with daily medication administration and compassionate care, helping to improve quality of life every shift.

You will maintain accurate records, monitor health changes, assist with medication cart audits, keep the supply room organized, and provide direct resident care in a friendly, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
• Provide direct resident care.
