Job summary

Sherbrooke Village is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to support residents in our long-term care setting. The role involves administering medications, monitoring resident well-being, and collaborating with licensed nurses to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualified candidates will hold MO CMT certification, have basic computer skills, and strong communication abilities in English. Prior long-term care experience is preferred and a stable contact method is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• MO CMT certification required.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergencies.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Administer medications as ordered by a physician following regulations and center policy.
• Maintain documentation of medication administration and resident condition.
• Respond to resident call lights and anticipate needs.
• Monitor vital signs as required by medications.
