Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a devoted Medication Aide for Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington, NC. You will administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following state regulations and facility policies.

Candidates must be in good standing on the state registry, have or be pursuing a HS diploma, and demonstrate basic computer skills to navigate the EHR system.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program if required by the state.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician.
• Do so under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides.
• Adhere to nursing standards and facility policies and state requirements.
