Job summary

Aura Health seeks a dedicated Medication Assistant to deliver resident-centered nursing care and assist with daily activities under supervision. You will help with bathing, grooming, vital signs, mobility, and psycho-social support while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities include administering medications as delegated, documenting resident changes, collecting specimens, and assisting with housekeeping, laundry, and recreation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 18 preferred.
• Certification requirements vary by state, including CNA and medication aide certifications, with ongoing competency testing and continuing education (minimum 12 hours annually).
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver resident-centered nursing care under supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, vital signs, mobility, and psycho-social support.
• Administer medications as delegated and document changes in resident condition.
• Collect specimens as required.
• Support housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities.
