Job summary

Good Samaritan provides over 100 years of housing and services to seniors in Bottineau, ND. The Medication Assistant delivers resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse, including vital signs, med administration, and documenting care outcomes per plan.

Role requires state CNA certification with ongoing competency testing, and CMA/TMA certification where applicable, with a focus on safety and compassionate care in a not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Active CNA certification in state of practice or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Certification as CMA/TMA may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and care outcomes; communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, transfers, and range of motion.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry to keep living areas clean and safe.
