Job summary

Regency on Whidbey in Oak Harbor, WA is seeking a compassionate medication aide to support residents with daily wellbeing, including personal care, medication assistance, and social activities.

You will follow the resident service plan, monitor vital signs, maintain records, and coordinate with physicians and families. CPR/BLS certification is preferred; typical candidates have six months of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
• Compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs.
• Maintain medication/treatment records and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family to ensure medications are received promptly.
• Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs such as bathing, grooming, and administering medications.
• Demonstrate infection control procedures.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment for residents.
