Job summary

Regency Pullman is seeking caring, compassionate Medication Aide candidates to join our retirement and assisted living community. You will assist residents with daily living tasks, administer medications, and document care under the wellness director. Weekend rotation may be required.

Typical candidates have six months of senior caregiving or med pass experience and may obtain CPR/BLS certification. Fluency in English for composing reports is expected.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in senior caregiving or med pass.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing treatments and monitor residents' vital signs.
• Maintain medication/treatment records and comply with guidelines.
• Communicate with physician, pharmacy, and family as needed to ensure medications are received promptly.
• Store medications and equipment and keep the medication room clean and organized.
• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs and noting changes in condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment for residents.
