Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living in Indiana is seeking a caring Nursing Assistant to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The role focuses on daily care, observation of health changes, and timely communication with the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging residents in meaningful activities while ensuring dignity and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and check on them regularly.
• Observe and document symptoms and conditions for changes in resident status.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Notify supervisor if a resident requires increased care.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and bathrooms.
• Serve and collect food trays; report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; uphold hygiene standards.
• Help residents with activities of daily living and promote independence and safety.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist residents, family members, guests, and staff.
• Complete resident laundry as assigned.
