LakeHouse Senior Living operates care and lifestyle-focused Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. We are seeking a Care Giver to support residents across shift duties, including daily living activities, monitoring health, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; know where residents are and check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and changes in resident conditions.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor if a resident has increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident areas.
• Serve and collect food trays; report refusals or loss of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Practice standard care precautions for cleanliness and health.
• Help residents maintain independence and dignity; promote safety.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist all customers, guests, families, residents, vendors and team members.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
