Job summary

Cranberry House is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents. The role involves ensuring proper medication administration, monitoring residents, and maintaining documentation.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and state certification as a Medication Aide. Previous senior care experience and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State certification as a Medication Aide preferred, on-the-job training available.
• Experience in senior care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and timing.
• Provide individualized care for residents with medical needs and assist with daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or errors to the supervising nurse.
