Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist with the administration of medications to residents under physician orders, under the supervision of nursing leadership.

You will follow established nursing standards and facility policies to ensure safe and accurate medication delivery. The position requires current CMA and CPR certifications, basic computer skills for charting, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CMA certification.
• CPR certification required or up-to-date.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the physician and document administration accurately.
• Maintain and secure the medication cart and room according to policy.
• Ensure medications are properly labeled, stored, and disposed of per facility procedures.
• Report any medication errors or concerns to the Nurse Manager or DON.
• Assist in daily resident care activities as directed by nursing leadership.
