Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents' health status, behavior, and physical condition.
• Resident Engagement: Build positive relationships with residents through compassionate care and effective communication.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow infection control procedures and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
