Job summary

The Bristal at Wayne in Wayne, NJ is seeking a NJ Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for a full-time, on-site role from 7:00am to 3:30pm. You will assist residents with medications, ADLs, and follow MARs and physician orders under the Wellness Director's guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times.
• Extremely reliable, dependent and observant.
• Ability to work one weekend day per week.
• HHA certificate required.
• NJ state med tech certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage ADLs and the administration of their medications.
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents, while following company policies and procedures.
• Following MARs and doctors’ orders.
