Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a Medication Aide for our Deercreek senior living community in California.

You will administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents who need assistance, following state regulations and facility policies, while observing effects and ensuring accurate documentation in medication administration records. You will support residents with activities of daily living, promote independence and dignity, and collaborate with the Wellness Director and care

Qualifications

• Successful completion of medication assistance training in compliance with state regulatory requirements and facility requirements.
• Maintains up-to-date medication certification requirements according to state regulations.
• Compassionate and empathetic in personal interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per state regulations and facility policies.
• Observes residents after medication, notes effects, and documents in MAR.
• Communicates concerns or observations with Wellness Director or designated personnel.
• Supports residents with activities of daily living, preserving dignity.
