Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and STNA to join our clinical team in a patient-centered residence. You will administer medications under nursing supervision, ensure safety, and document accurately.

You’ll verify resident identities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the Charge Nurse. The role includes assisting with daily living activities and collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and staff to support quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed/certified Medication Aide in Ohio who has completed state-approved training and listed on the Ohio STNA registry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 25 lbs; comfortable with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under nursing supervision with safety and accuracy.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications.
• Verify resident identities, monitor intake, track vital signs, report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Assist with labeling, charting, drug receipt error reporting, and safe disposal.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and nursing staff to support resident care.
• Provide compassionate daily care, assist with activities of daily living.
