Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Six months experience in an assisted living community preferred.
• United States citizenship or valid Alien Work Permit.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
• Certified as Registered Medication Aide in this state.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy policies and confidentiality.
• Complete care documentation timely and accurately.
• Help residents with personal care functions as needed.
• Dispense medications under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Supervise residents' medications under the service plan.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Observe and report changes as part of the personal care plan.
• Redirection and monitoring for behavior per care plan.
• Assist with incidental household tasks as part of care plan.
• Observe clients and document care performed.
