Job summary
Saber Healthcare Group is seeking compassionate Licensed Medication Aide to administer medications in an assisted living setting. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and adhere to nursing standards, facility policies, and state regulations.
Qualified applicants are HS graduates, registered on the state registry, with basic computer skills and experience with EHR software. Full-time opportunities available across our communities.
Qualifications
- Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide.
- Pass the QMA competency evaluation program if your state requires.
- Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
- Previous experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Follow nursing standards, community policies, procedures, and practices.
- Maintain accurate medication records in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with licensed nurses to ensure safe and effective resident care.
