Grove Park Health & Rehab Center in Asheville, NC is seeking a Medication Aide to administer medications to residents per physician orders under licensed nurse supervision. Eligible for full-time hours, with 12-hour shifts (1st and 3rd).

Wage ranges from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, with on-demand or weekly pay options and comprehensive benefits. Requirements include being in good standing on the state registry as a medication aide, completion of QMA competency program if required, and a HS

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides.
• The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.
