Job summary

PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking a Transportation Driver to move program participants and medical supplies between sites and facilities. You will assist with boarding, ensure safe transport, and follow infection control and safety policies.

You may perform routine vehicle maintenance and participate in training sessions as required. The role requires a valid Michigan CDL with passenger endorsement, CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan CDL Class A or B with Passenger endorsement preferred.
• Current CPR card required.
• Experience transporting individuals with mobility needs.
• Must pass post-offer background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Transports program participants and medical supplies to and from sites as directed.
• Assist participants in entering/exiting vehicles safely using devices as needed.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards during transport.
• Secure wheelchairs and safety belts for wheelchair users.
