Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Medical Receptionist to warmly check in patients, process payments, and support daily operations. You will guide new patients through the intake process with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role involves coordinating with medical staff, handling clerical tasks, and maintaining daily financial records. Healthcare or addiction medicine exposure is preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients, receive payments, and assist in daily operations.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude and offer a “white glove” experience.
• Guide new patients through the intake process.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed.
• Maintain daily financial records and reports.
• Coordinate with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes.
• Provide clerical and logistical support.
• Oversee patient accounts and financial responsibilities.
