Job summary

Joerns Healthcare LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver, set up, and service medical equipment in patient homes and facilities. You will educate patients and families, perform safety checks, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.

This role includes on-call duties with nights and weekends as required. The position emphasizes empathy, safety, and high-quality service, with company investment in training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Clear ability to read maps, follow instructions, and perform basic math.
• Minimum 2 years in customer service or related field.
• Willing to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and travel if required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate with minimal supervision.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and comply with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and pick up Joerns equipment for patients.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on safe use of equipment.
• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws and procedures.
• Complete vehicle safety checks and required paperwork.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Rotate on-call availability with team members.
• Clean, disinfect, and perform quality checks on products.
• Participate in ongoing training and education.
• Load and unload equipment safely.
