Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Sports Medicine & Orthopedics – Dearborn is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will support physicians with examinations, perform routine clinical tasks, and help maintain a clean, compliant medical office.

Qualifications include a Medical Assistant diploma or three years of relevant healthcare experience and CPR/BLS certification. Vaccination requirements may apply and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

CPR/BLS certification is required.
High school diploma or GED.Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or three years of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting in lieu of a diploma.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in a medical office setting under physician supervision.
Assist with medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
Take vital signs, document in medical records, and assist with referrals and scheduling.
