Qualifications

• Accepted Medical Assistant Certifications (CMA, CCMA, NPCE, NRCMA, NCCT)

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, reporting abnormal findings.
• Assist with patient intake, rooming, and clinic flow.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare, clean, and disinfect clinical equipment according to policy.
• Collect, prepare, and transport laboratory specimens as needed.
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and families.
• Follow safety and infection prevention procedures.
• Support providers with clinical documentation and clerical tasks.
