Denver Health in Denver, CO is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to support Pena FHC Primary Care. You will perform back-office duties, assist providers, take vital signs, administer medications, and help with scheduling to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a CMA/CCMA diploma or LPN pathway and at least 6 months of outpatient experience, with BLS certification. Join a mission-driven team delivering high-quality care for life's journey.

Formación

• Completion of a clinical Medical Assistant training program or CCMA certificate.
• 6 months direct patient care experience in outpatient setting.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs and collect basic historical data; report changes to provider.
• Assist with procedures; administer meds and immunizations; obtain EKGs; schedule follow-ups.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with examinations and minor procedures.
• Coordinate clerical information for patient care; referrals and appointments.
• Document in patient medical records; maintain confidentiality and safety.
• Maintain exam rooms and infection control; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Notify provider of changes in patient condition; participate in competency reviews.
