Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support clinicians, prepare patients, and assist with procedures. You will collect histories, vital signs, and help coordinate care while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes direct patient contact, education, and collaboration in a team-focused environment with a commitment to quality care. Prior MA training and CPR certification are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of accredited MA program and externship or equivalent.
• MA certification eligible or EMT/Paramedic credentials acceptable.
• CPR certification required.
• Certification through CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Document patient histories, vitals, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and instructions to patients.
• Educate patients and families to improve health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
