Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care during day shifts. You will prepare patients, collect vitals, document findings, and assist with procedures and exams using diagnostic equipment.

You will also help with charting, coordination of labs, imaging, and surgeries, while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication. The position requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, attainment of a CMA/RMA/NCMA-style certification within one

Qualifications

Must complete a CAAHP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program.
BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Demonstrate honesty, integrity and caring aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care through preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment.
Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under provider direction.
Prepare and organize patient charts and test results.
Coordinate schedules, pre-certifications, and follow-ups; maintain confidentiality.
