Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will prepare patients, collect vitals, document procedures, and assist with exams and equipment such as tympanometry and spirometry.

Assist with administration of medications and immunizations under provider direction, while maintaining organized charts and accurate documentation. You will schedule tests, labs, X-rays, and surgeries; coordinate pre- and post-care instructions, and

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
• Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., tympanometry, spirometry).
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts; ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule procedures, labs, imaging, and surgeries; provide pre-/post-surgery information.
