Job summary

Humana is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care and administrative duties onsite. You will work under supervision to perform clinical tasks, assist physicians, and maintain exam rooms and EMR documentation.

The role requires MA credentials, CPR, a high school diploma, and a willingness to participate in Humana's TB screening program. Prior MA experience and knowledge of value-based care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Patient-facing role and TB screening program participation.
• 1+ years MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical tasks: assess symptoms, take vital signs, administer medications and vaccines.
• Conduct phlebotomy, collect specimens and perform diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize equipment, maintain examination rooms and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of certification.
• Follow policy and prioritize tasks within defined parameters.
