BrightView Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care, documentation, and labs at our Pikeville, KY site. You will handle specimen prep, EMR entries, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of MA experience and familiarity with HIPAA. This role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with clinical policies while contributing to patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical assistant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and lab procedures desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely and efficient patient flow during visits and support administrative tasks.
• Prepare specimens for shipping and maintain laboratory supplies inventory.
• Maintain sanitary, organized work environment and ensure compliant documentation.
• Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and update patient accounts (insurance & billing).
• Coordinate with teams for patient appointments and attend required meetings/huddles.
• Consult with team on lab testing results and patient care issues.
