Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical assistant experience preferred
• HIPAA familiarity or compliance
• Strong communication and empathy for patients

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs, TB testing, and blood draws
• Facilitate patient flow during visits
• Perform administrative duties to support patient flow
• Prepare specimens for shipping
• Maintain laboratory supplies and sanitary work environment
• Document in EMR promptly and accurately
