Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care by taking vital signs, performing TB tests and blood draws, and assisting with specimen handling under supervision. You will help maintain smooth patient flow, manage EMR entries, and support coordination across clinical teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical assistant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and 42-CFR Part 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs, TB testing, and blood draws.
• Facilitate timely and efficient patient flow during visits.
• Perform administrative duties to support patient flow.
• Prepare specimens for shipping and maintain laboratory supplies.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and maintain patient accounts.
• Coordinate with teams on appointments and lab results.
