Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care within our treatment program. You will take vital signs, assist with TB testing and blood draws, manage patient flow, and perform routine lab tasks under supervision.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation in the EMR, coordination with clinical teams, HIPAA compliant practices, and a compassionate approach to supporting recovery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical assistant experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with EMR and HIPAA compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vital signs, TB testing, and blood draws.
• Facilitate patient flow and assist with administrative duties.
• Prepare specimens for shipping and maintain lab supplies.
• Document results accurately in the EMR and ensure timely posting.
