Care New England in Providence, RI is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and office functions. You will engage in direct patient contact, help maintain office systems, and assist in various clinical tasks and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have CMA certification, CPR, strong typing and medical terminology knowledge, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Flexibility for weekends or evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed certification as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and transcription.
• Strong typing skills and computer literacy.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with terminally ill patients.
• Proficiency in English; weekend/evening availability.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competency in clinical care and assessment.
• Assists with direct patient care with discretion.

• Provides office support: typing, scheduling, forms.
• Monitors clinical equipment and supplies.
• Protects patient confidentiality.
