Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or related clinical experience preferred.
• National Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with patients, colleagues, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and document vitals.
• Assist providers and clinical staff during visits and procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Document patient information in the EHR per procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and follow-up.
• Coordinate patient care across departments.
• Communicate with patients via phone and mail.
• Provide health education and instruction.
