Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Certification preferred but not required unless specified for the position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and document vital signs.
• Assist providers and clinical staff during visits, examinations, and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure stock of supplies.
• Document patient information in the electronic health record per procedures.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and follow-up activities.
• Provide patients with instructions and health education.
• Maintain infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support efficient patient experience.
• Facilitate patient access to services and link to ancillaries such as translation and transportation.
