Job summary

ChenMed LLC is expanding its physician-led care model and seeks a Care Promoter 1 to support both administrative and clinical duties. The role involves vital signs, patient history, instruction and coordination with PCP, and basic lab tasks under physician supervision.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, completion of a medical assistant or EMT program, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program required.
• 1 year of work experience in related roles preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs and history.
• Assist physician with exams and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications under supervision.
• Collect lab specimens and perform basic tests.
• Maintain supplies and sterilize instruments.
• Process patient messages and coordinate with care team.
• Coordinate prescriptions with pharmacy as directed.
• Provide health coaching and follow-up calls.
• Travel up to 10% locally/regionally as needed.
