Conviva Senior Primary Care in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role. You will support both patient care and administrative tasks, including EHR documentation and HEDIS/Stars reporting. The position requires MA training or CMA/RMA certification and CPR, with TB screening per policy.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a pay range of $43,000–$56,200 annually, and eligibility for a bonus plan along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• TB screening required for this patient-facing role

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type
• Obtain and record medical history and vital signs
• Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
• Perform specimen collection and point of care testing
• Prepare and administer medication under the direction of healthcare provider
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and EMR systems, including documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measures
