Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients, handling administrative tasks and frontline clinical duties. You will obtain vital signs, assist with vaccines, document in the EMR, and keep examination rooms organized under supervision.

Collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers is key, with care delivered within policy and with some discretion.

Qualifications

• Completion of an MA program or CMA/RMA certification with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• TB screening required if selected for the role.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties and patient care as first point of contact.
• Obtain vital signs, document in EMR, and assist with symptoms review.
• Sterilize/clean equipment and maintain examination rooms.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs; follow policies with some discretionary judgment.

Skills

Phlebotomy experience

Medication/vaccine administration

Bilingual English/Spanish

1+ years MA experience

HEDIS/CPT/ICD knowledge

Education

Medical Assistant training program or CMA/RMA
