Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and document medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints.
• Assist with patient flow to ensure timely visits.
• Support high-quality patient experience through effective communication with patients, families and care providers.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with exams and procedures under supervision.
• Perform basic clinical tasks including specimen collection, injections, and venipuncture as allowed by state regulations.
• Relay information and instructions to patients as directed by clinicians and nursing staff.
• Assist with scheduling tests, treatments, follow-ups, and communicate results to patients.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies; ensure proper sterilization and instrument upkeep.
• Triage calls, process referrals and appointment requests, and manage patient records.
