Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in delivering pediatric care. The role blends clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient, patient-centered visits.

The ideal candidate has an accredited Medical Assistant diploma, state-required MA certification (preferred), CPR/BLS certification (preferred), and 1+ year of office experience. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Competenze

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred or as required by State.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet and escort patient to exam room and document medical history.
• Assist with patient flow to ensure timely visits.
• Support high-quality patient experience through communication with patients, families and other care providers while maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist with preparing and conducting medical exams and procedures under physician supervision.
• Perform applicable medical procedures, collect and prepare laboratory specimens, administer injections where allowed by state regulations.
• Communicate information and instructions to patients as directed, ensuring understanding.
• Assist with scheduling tests, treatments, and follow-up appointments and relay test results to patients.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with supplies, maintain instruments and sterilize as required.
• Respond to calls and requests for referrals and appointments; triage and process messages while maintaining patient records.
• Other duties as assigned.
