Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in patient preparation, vitals collection and documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant program, with BLS/CPR either current or within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and plan care prior to appointments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians.
• Take vitals, update medications and allergies, and document patient history.
• Assist with injections/immunizations per state guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and restock supplies.
• Coordinate with Care Team on discharge and follow-up as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department meetings.
