Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is seeking a medical assistant-level professional to support non-invasive clinical tasks under physician supervision in Lodi, CA. The role includes room setup, patient intake, vital signs, venipuncture, audiometry and vision testing, and assisting physicians with routine procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and preferred CMA/RMA or phlebotomy credentials.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent is required.
• BLS Health Care Provider certification is required.
• CMA/RMA or equivalent preferred.
• Audiometry and vision training completed or CHDP certificate within six months of hire preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
• Maintains a patient recall system for labs, referrals and transfers.
• Obtains vital signs and reports findings to physician.
• Performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
