Job summary

Adventist Health Reedley seeks a per diem Medical Assistant to provide non-invasive, routine clinical support under licensed physician supervision in multiple nearby clinics.

Responsibilities include room setup, vital signs, specimen collection, venipuncture, audiometry and vision testing, with mandatory BLS and high school diploma. This role supports float coverage across the Avenal area and surrounding sites with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients; maintains recalls and follow-up logs.
• Obtains vitals and reports findings to clinic physician.
• Performs venipunctures and audiometry/vision testing as ordered.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
