Job summary

Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (MSPB) in Atlantis, FL seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians, perform triage, take vitals, prepare patients, and educate patients for follow-up care in a fast-paced back-office environment.

The role requires HS diploma, 1–2 years in a medical setting, familiarity with Athena, CPT and ICD-10 codes, strong communication, and accurate charting; certification is a plus. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of medical setting experience preferred; formal training or certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Athena, CPT, and ICD-10 codes helpful.
• Strong communication and computer-typing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and patient assessment.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Provide patient education and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
• Coordinate test scheduling and pre-certifications.
• Order medical supplies and assist with labs/X-ray if certified.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment.
