Qualifications

• Certification as CMA, RMA, or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsabilités

• Taking vital signs.
• Performing Point-of-Care Testing.
• Performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests.
• Assisting with minor procedures.
• Ensuring infection control and safety protocols.
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing calendars.
• Maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Processing insurance claims and verifying patient eligibility.
• Coordinating referrals and pre-authorizations.
