Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI seeks Medical Assistants to join a collaborative clinic. You will prepare patients, take vitals, perform EKGs, draw blood, give injections, and support in-office testing and procedures under licensed professionals.

Minimum education is a high school diploma with MA program completion; certifications (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC) are preferred. 2+ years clinical background or recent graduates may apply. Day shift, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED with completion of an MA program and externship/internship, EMT, or Paramedic program.
• Preferred credentials: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, CMAC.
• Experience: 2+ years clinical support if no MA program completed; new graduate or 1+ year experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Room set up and patient preparation.
• Taking vitals (manual & electronic).
• Perform EKG.
• Blood draws and injections/immunizations.
• Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing).
• Pharmacology.
• Administrative duties.
• Assist with in‑office procedures/treatments.
