Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care in Southeast Michigan. You will assist with exams, tests, and procedures, document histories and vital signs, and coordinate care with the care team.

You will educate patients, relay results and instructions, and contribute to quality improvement efforts. A strong clinical foundation and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of approved MA program or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification preferred or required.
• Ambulatory care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for visits.
• Document patient history, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and perform tests as directed.
• Communicate results and instructions to patients.
• Educate patients and families to improve health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
